When it comes to dogs we want to learn as much as we can. They are like our children, so we want to make sure that we are doing things right, we want to make sure that they are getting what they want. I have to inform you before you jump into conclusions that these dog breeds don’t always live as long as it is written in the informations below. We are always talking about the general population because we know that depending on the lifestyle the dog has lived, the food it has eaten, and how it has been treated will definitely affect its lifespan.
#1- Beagle. These creatures are curious and always ready for a fund game. Their lifespan varies from 12-14 years.
#2- Chihuahua. This toy bread lives from 15-20 years.
#3- Dachshund This dog breed is well-known for their short legs and long body. They can live from 14-17 years. There once was a case when a pet onwer claimed that his Dachshund lived 31 years. Amazing huh??
#4- Labrador Retriever. Labrador Retriever is one of the longest living dog breeds that are so big.
#5- Lhansa Apso. Generally this dog breed lives from 15-17 years. But there have been a couple of cases when the dog has lived up to 20 years.
#6- Maltese. One of the oldest dog breeds has a truly impressive lifespan. This little cute toy breed can live from 15-18 years.
#7- Miniature Shnauzer. This is a small dog with a lot of muscles. Its lifespan varies from 12-14 years.
#8- Pug. I find Pugs the most adorable dog breed on Earth. That face just makes me want to squeeze them so bad! Their lifespan varies from 13-15 years old.
#9- Shih Tzu. These adorable pooches can live from 11-14 years. They make the perfect companions for couples with small children.
#10- Alaskan Malamute. Often mistaken for the Siberian husky, the Alaskan malamute is bred for having strong endurance and hauling heavy loads.
Like the Labrador retriever, they are one of the few large dog breeds with a longer than average lifespan and can generally live for 13 to 16 years.
With early socialization, this breed can quickly become a loyal and obedient companion.
