10 Old School Pics That Prove Dog People Have Always Been Crazy About Their Pups

People are crazy about their pups and this proves the fact that that they have always been like this over centuries, here are some old pictures of various dogs and their owners. Dressing them like humans or like little babies is a way of showing them affection and making them part of the family. Dogs are our life companions and our most loyal friends.
#1- Union soldier with his loyal companion, this photo was taken around 1861-1865.

 

2. Bulldog dressed up like little baby , this proves that People have been dressing their dogs up for portraits since at least 1905. Back then taking a photo was a big deal.

3. Umberto Nobile, Arctic explorer and aeronautical engineer, poses with his pup Titina in 1926. Even Great minds need a good friend.


4. In this photo is Grace Coolidge, former First Lady, playing  with two pups.This pic proves that beeing a dog owner has always been trendy.

7. In this picture we have President Herbert Hoover with his Belgian Shepherd, King Tut. His dog helped him win the hearts of American dog lovers in the 1920s.

8. This Saint Bernard, named Scipio, belonged to Orville Wright, of Wright Brothers fame.

9. The photo was taken in 1914, showing a Frenchie with her owner, Marion Simpson.We believe the photo to be from the French Bulldog Club of America Show.

10. Greyhounds have always been big derp faces and this is proven, as seen in this  picture taken in 1942.
