We can not deny that we are truly ourselves only when we are alone. Even the serious ones that we see walking with a briefcase and their tie on, on the streets, have their moments of freedom and craziness when no one is watching.
Since our dogs do not judge we don’t hold back even if they are around us. As we see at the end of the day it seems like we can feel more free around our dogs than even our loved ones.
#1 When in mood to dance we turn the volume on singing along and perform the craziest moves ever. There are times our puppies decide to join the party, shaking their tail and jumping up and down. What a scene!
#2 They see how much time we spend trying to take the perfect selfie for our profile picture. I bet we look pretty stupid in their eyes doing that.
#3 We all have a movie or show that we secretly watch but do not admit it because everyone says it is lame and a waste of time. Lucky for us we have our dogs to watch them with…
#4 It is said that only mentally ill people speak with themselves, but who are we kidding…How many times have we caught ourselves blabbering about our day in an empty room with our dog as the only witness.
#5 They see it all! Even the things we don’t want to admit to ourselves. Such as cyber stalking your Ex. Yeah yeah…it is pathetic but we still secretly do it. Lucky for us, dogs do not talk so our secrets are safe.
#6 They have seen us at our ugliest version. We do share emotions with others, whether good or bad. But for those times when all we wanna do is cry our eyes out, home is the best place. The privacy, the silence…and of course our sweet puppies who are always there if we’ll need comfort.
#7 This is so embarrassing to even write about it. But it is true, even the most educated people when no one is watching, pick their nose and stick the boogers under the desk or on the underbelly of the couch. Well guess what…Your dog knows!
#8 They are there when we scroll on Instagram, on Snapchat or even worse, speaking on the phone while we are on the toilet. We do it and we can not explain why.
#9 They have seen you at your laziest moment. All day long and sometimes it goes for days, we lay down, watch TV, stuff our self with food, go to bathroom, and repeat and repeat. This is what unemployment looks like…we all have been there. It gets better!
#10 They have seen you nude from every angle possible. We all enjoy our nude time when home alone. It is a luxurious experience and no one can deny that.
