Training your dog is not the easiest thing to do! Yet it is not impossible! In this article I will show you five easy tricks how to train your dog, and make him/her an A+ student. Remember that the more you train your dog, the smarter and qualified your puppy becomes! Also regular training helps strengthens the bond between you and your beloved dog! All you need to do is teach him/her these five easy tricks.
1- Shake. Keep a treat in your hand and show it to your dog! Then close your hand! The moment your dog comes sniffing at your hand, give him/her the treat, hold his/her hand and say SHAKE. Do this often, and your dog will learn how to shake hands with you in no time!
2- High Five
After your dog has mastered SHAKE, HIGH FIVE will be easier. You should follow the same steps, but before you hand the treat to your dog take his hand HIGH FIVE it with yours and say HIGH FIVE. Never give your dog the treat without doing it! They learn quick if you reward them afterwards!
3- Take It
Place your dog’s favorite toy in front of him/her! Wait until they pick it up, give them a treat and say TAKE IT. Do this often, and they will learn when you say TAKE IT that they have to pick something up!
4- Hush
Every time your dogs starts barking for no reason try to grab his/her attention. After you have done it give him/her a treat, and say HUSH. Every-time your dog disturbs you try to do this, and very quickly they will learn that when you say HUSH they have to stop!
Throw a ball to your dog while you are outside. Call him and while you hand him/her a treat say BRING IT. Do this for a couple of times straight and they will learn how to catch and bring the ball themselves!
