8 Useful Tips To Take Care For Your Husky

A healthy dog is a happy dog. Maybe you already know some of the tips I have written below or it might be the first time you read it. But hey, you can never have too much information. This tips are for Husky but can also be useful for any other breed.
#1 Annual Check-Ups are a must. The blues eyes are a trademark when it comes to Huskies. If you live in areas with cold weather, where snow is constant all year around you should monitor your dog’s eyesight. They may even go blind because of the sun’s reflection on the snow.

#2 Don’t let them get bored. They get extremely destructive when they are in that state of mind.

#3 You don’t need to bathe them too often. Their thick undercoat will stay wet for hours.

#4 They are very energetic so try to get active with them. Find new games and exercices you could do together.

#5 Try to keep them in cool areas during those hot days. Even though it is a fact that dogs release heat through their paws and their ears as well, their fur is to thick to handle high temperatures. You can try to trim their fur instead of shaving it all off. This way you protect their skin from a possible sunburn.

#6 Train your puppy while you still can. Because once they past that stage, it automatically means more work for you.

#7 Do not overdo it with the food. They tend to gain weight very easily. And be sure you feed him/her high quality food.

#8 Brush their fur systematically, especially during summer time.
