9 Bright New Dog Breeds You Probably Have Not Hear Of Yet

You think you know all about dogs and dog breeds. Well think again, maybe you will be surprised after seeing this 10 newest dog breeds we have to show you.
#1 Silken Windhound is a very social and sensitive breed. Is like they live to please their owners and are very good around children. They are quite sportive as well, very capable to run on huge distances. Mostly, today they are used for sport, hunting and companion. They are high about 46-60 cm and can live up to 18 years.

#2 Small Apennine Hound is originally from Italy and is mostly use to hunt. They started breeding them after the 20 century. They weigh 17-20 kg and are high 40-46 cm.

#3 Afghan Retriever is a result of crossbreed between Afghan Hound and a Golden Retriever. They are very intelligent and great swimmers, although they also tend to be noisy and intrusive. They are used only for companion today. Height is around 53-66 cm.


#4 Nebolish Mastiff started to appear on the late ’60s in Canada. They are cheerful, fearless and quite energetic. They make excellent guards, but are also used for companion. They require houses with outside place for them to play and release some energy. They weigh 43-90 kg, are high 79-90 cm and live approximately 10-14 years.

#5  Redhead Breton Basset is originally from France, used for hunting and appeared from Breton Griffon. They are not very good with other dogs although they do have a very pleasant personality. Are 66-84 high and weigh 45-65 kg.

#6 Miniature Australian Shepherd appeared in the USA during the end ’60s, with the initial aim to breed dog for people that live in the city. They are very friendly and live up to 13 years. Their weight is 7 – 13,5 kg while they are high 33 – 46 cm.

#7 Puggle is originally from USA and comes from crossbreeding  a pug and a beagle. They are very smart and social dogs with a strong personality. They are totally adorable and are used only for companion. They weigh around 6 – 8 kg and their height fluctuates between  25 – 37,5 cm.

#8 Victorian Bulldog started to appear in 1988 as a stronger breed, due to the poor health of Bulldogs. They are very faithful dogs, sociable but sometimes can be a little bit stubborn as well. They are generally used as guards or for companion and live 10 – 14 years. The Victorian Bulldog is  44 – 50 cm high and weighs 29 – 45 kg.

#9 Serbian Hound started to spread in the Balkans and is very rare as breed. Today is used for guard and companion. They live up to 12 years, are 44 – 54 cm high and weigh about 20 kg.
