A Bahamas resident Rosie Kemp found a baby raccoon that had fallen out of a tree. They did not see her mother nowhere, so Kemp and her daughter Laura Young decided to adopt the little bandit and named her “Pumpkin.” L:title by little Pumpkin recovered from her injuries, and started living with Young and her husband! In an interview for The Dodo Young said: “She instantly bonded with us and our two rescue dogs and follows me and our two dogs everywhere we go. She now thinks she is a dog… she is able to play and be rough with them and she respects them when they have had enough.”
Baby Pumpkin when she was first found from Kemp and Laura Young. She was just a couple of weeks old, and suffering from a broken leg! Thankfully she recovered completely!

She is highly energetic, and very adventurous.“Pumpkin follows me and our two dogs everywhere we go”
And when I say she is highly energetic, I mean it. She likes to mess around the house, and explore everything.“They are so unbelievably intelligent” says her beloved owner, that loves Pumpkin the raccoon the same way she loves her beloved dogs.
She spends way too much time with the dogs of the family, so she thinks she is a dog now. She tries to do everything the way dogs do it, and hangs out with them, just like being one of them. 
It is not hard for Pumpkin the raccoon to express her feelings.“I would say they are even able to express emotions”
Since the day they meet each-other, they have been very attached. Apparently they also know that life is more beautiful, if you share it with the right people.
