Birth defects make these 6 dogs such an inspiration

Not all dogs are lucky enough to be born with no defects whatsoever. In this post you will be able to meet 8 inspiring dogs who have different birth defects. I am so glad that their parents take such good care of them, and make sure to provide them with every needed treatment. To me these dogs who were born with birth defects are such a great inspiration to everyone. They are such a good example that life don’t stop if you have a health problem.
#1- Derby was born with a form of Antebrachial growth deformity, or abnormally shortened legs. The family who adopted the dog  provided 3D-printed prosthetics that allowed him to run, jump, and play like any other dog. His foster dad says “He runs with us every day…he never really tires out. He’s just so happy.”

#2- The unusual dog, PIG

He was born with unusually shortened spine. Spinal birth defects are common in several pure breed dogs, but Pig is a mixed breed, so we don’t know for sure why her spine developed the way it did. One thing is for sure; no matter the severe complications Pig lives a happy life.

#3- One-eyed dog

His name is Chloe and he had an eye removed because of glaucoma. The birth defect is called congenital glaucoma(high pressure within the eye) and the only way to relieve the pain is removing the eye. Even though Chloe is missing an eye he lives a healthy, happy life.

#4- Duncan the Two-legged dog

#5- The small German Shepherd

Meet Tiger the German Shepherd, who has a rare genetic dwarfism caused by a defect in the pituitary gland. Dogs with genetic dwarfism appear normal as puppies, but by the time they reach adult age, they stop growing.

#6- Duke

Duke was born with Cerebellar hypoplasia, a condition caused when the cerebellum fails to develop before a puppy is born. The effects are tremors, clumsiness, and in severe. Despite that they can live a happy long life.
