When the Marin Humane Society brought into the shelter a mixed Chihuahua, they did not know what the dog had been through. At first they noticed that the dog felt anxious, but they thought it was only because of the fact that she was in an unknown place. The rescuers believed that in a few days the Chihuahua named Cora would get familiar and everything would get back to normal. Unfortunately it did not, and in the following pictures you will find out why:
When Cora first got to the shelter, she only sat at the very end of the kennel. She sat there motionless feeling depressed.
After a few visits, the Vets were able to find out that Cora gave birth not long ago, and maybe that was the reason behind her attitude. 
The shelter reached out to her previous owners and begged them to give up the puppies. The poor canine could not bare her life without her babies. she felt lonely, nervous and depressed without her children.
Once Cora reunited with her babies she felt like a whole another canine. She started wagging her tail and jumping around. She even thanked the rescuer for reuniting her with her babies. In the following video you will see the moment when this family reunites. 
A mother could never live her life in peace without her babies. That is why Cora was acting the way she was acting. She wanted her babies back, and fortunately so they did. This is such a beautiful video, and I think the Marin Humane Society did an amazing job.
