The dog they lost was quite old in age. In fact this was his fourth home. He was very loved by the family and they always tried to do what was best for him. As the girl says he was a very well behaved dog.
Although somehow he felt more connected with the father, he loved all members of the family and they loved him back even more.
Unfortunately he died during a medical procedure at age 15. He had gone through many surgeries during his life but apparently this was to much to handle for his tired body.
The family was left devastated. They all loved him very much and were not prepared to lose him. One day the mother saw something on the dogs water bowel that made them feel relief. It was like a sign send from ‘doggie heaven’.

The dog had passed away just two days ago. She posted that picture on Twitter and wrote her farewell.
They took what they saw in the bowl as a sign that he is happy. People were so touched after reading about this and started leaving comments.
