The Pit Bull That Grows “Claws” Due To A Rare Birth Defect

When you first take a look at him, he looks exactly like any other Pit Bull out there. This 2 year old Pit Bull mix is affected by a rare birth defect called lobster claw syndrome but is also known by the name ectrodactyly.

This causes his front legs to end six inches before they were supposed to. Due to this physical deformation he is known as the kangaroo dog. The front paws look exactly like claws. He uses mostly his hind legs since putting weight on the front ones causes him pain.

He takes medication for arthritis and needs surgery but despite this, this pooch does not feel down at all.

He is very friendly and will go in anyone’s lap if so is inclined.

This fighter is not just in need of medical assistance, he also wants to be loved and find a forever home.
