An abandoned dog who was found by the police department in Kirkland in Ohio found a new home in the most unlikely place. the story we are about to share has a really sad beginning, but the good news is that it has the best possible ending. It all started back in March 31st when the Kirtland Police Department in Kirtland, Ohio posted an announcement of a stray dog found in a road in Kirtland.
The posted this photo and wrote in the cation:
Missing your dog? Found on Wisner Rd. Kirtland. Call KPD 440-256-3333
The Police Department was patient for several weeks, while waiting for the owners of the dog, who seemed to be a pit bull mix, to come and pick him up. But as weeks went by, they started thinking that no one was going to show up.
The staff at the police department named the dog John Doe, and they all started to fall in love with the big adorable pooch little by little.
Finally in April 21st the department made a very important announcement on Facebook. The Police Association had officially adopted John Doe, whom now they all call JD. The big pooch is really grateful for his newest big family. They treat him in the best way and he loves them all unconditionally. They all love JD too.
