The rescuers that found the dogs had to evacuate them with hazmat suits on. The dogs held in that house had never seen the outside world before, they kept shaking in fear.
They were kept under beds or even between walls.The officials called the house the worst hoarding case ever. You could smell the urine and feces that had covered the floor. It was horrible.
The couple that was living in that house with the dogs will probably face charges for the inhumane conditions they kept the dogs and the lack of veterinary care.
Some of the puppies had to receive oxygen on the scene, others were transported to emergency veterinary care. Meanwhile many dog were vaccinated there until the the authorities ran out of supplies.
