It’s officially summer and that means rising temperatures. Dogs don’t tolerate heat very well because they don’t sweat like people so this can be very dangerous. These 6 tips will help you keep your dog safe and cool this summer.
#1 Don’t you ever leave your dog alone in the car. It can be very dangerous and fatal in a relatively short time!

#2 Rapid panting, extra drooling, or bright red mouth and gums are signs of heat stress. Move your dog into a cooler area.

#3 Water water and only water… !!!  Drinking water, as much as possible, is too good for you and your dog


#4 Your dog can’t handle hot surfaces such as sand and asphalt. Be careful!

#5 Be careful with those insects that come out in the summer. They can cause nuisance or harm to your dog by biting and stinging.

#6  Heatstroke is a serious condition for your dog. If the body temperature is above 40 degrees Celsius, you have to spray your dog with cool water, wet towels, and cool packs placed in the groin area.
