When the Marin Humane Society brought into the shelter a mixed Chihuahua, they did not know what the dog had been through. At first they noticed that the dog felt anxious, but they thought it was only because of the fact that she was in an unknown place. The rescuers believed that in a few days the Chihuahua named Cora would get familiar and everything would get back to normal. Unfortunately it did not, and in the following pictures you will find out why:
When Cora first got to the shelter, she only sat at the very end of the kennel. She sat there motionless feeling depressed.
