She decided to paint the dog, over Mona Lisa’s body.Since she is a painter this is her way of expressing the love for the dog. Maybe little Bowie is too precious for her, and she wants to compare him with one of the best paintings of all time. When she was asked about the different reactions she got over the paining she said:
“There has been a mixed reaction, somewhere between creeped out and an uneasy laugh,” she said.
“I think it’s his coal black eyes, they give you nothing but yet they stare right into your soul.”
And that is why most have been obsessed with Mona Lisa during this whole time. Her painting is so mysterious, so this is why Rebecca decided to do the same with Bowie. The following picture will show you why Bowie’s eyes stare right into your soul.
