Siberian Huskies are a breed widely known for being stubborn and difficult to train. This aspect of the breed is due to their high intelligence. Siberian Huskies don’t disobey and refuse to listen because they are stupid or otherwise not grasping what you’re asking of them — it’s more the case of them not seeing the point in doing something, and shrugging you and your commands off as silly and pointless. “Why should I sit and stay here, when I could go run down the street and chase small creatures?!” These dogs are a fun-loving, self-pleasing sort, and they get bored quite easily, so a training regime that includes a lot of repetition will likely yield unpleasant results for you when training a Siberian Husky.
