#4- Kai, Project Paws Alive
Kai is part of the San Antonio Fire Department, he is a fire detection dog. Kai was found in the streets by animal control. This dog was so close to euthanasia, when a humane society member noticed her drive and energy, while playing at the shelter. Kai participated in more then 200 investigations, and also helps educate kids on fire safety.
#5- Bretagne, Penn Vet Working Dog Center
We are presenting you Bretagne, she is a rescue dog. Her first mission was in 11 September after the attack at the world trade center.
Bretagne now is 14 years old and retired since 2008. Now she helps kids to learn to read. She is super friendly and waits to be recalled into action.
