The more we learn the more we realize that there are some rules all dog owners must follow. One of my favorite quotes says: The more I know people, the more I love animals. They are honest about every behavior they make, unlike us humans.
You know that dogs are the most beloved animals to us. Their energy is 100% pure every day of their lives. They live every day as if it were the last, unlike us who often forget this important detail. I have said before that if we are open to change, we have a lot to learn from dogs.
Remember to be in love with your dog, compliment him on every move he makes, reward for the beautiful face he has and so on. These are important behaviors that are practiced by every dog owner. These are unwritten rules that are strictly followed by the owners / lovers of our four-legged friends.
Rules All Dog Owners Must Follow
#1 Whenever someone says “COME LOOK AT WHAT (DOG’S NAME) IS DOING” you run no matter what you are doing.
#2 All dogs of the same breed are long-lost brothers.
#3 You know who made the mess, but acting surprised and asking “WHO DID THIS?!” is important.
#4 Your dog should have a million nicknames.
#5 All parts of your dog’s body end with“ies.” For example, teefies, leggies, earsies, toesies, feetsies, tongueie, etc.
#6 You have to compliment your dog’s stick if it finds one no matter what it looks like. Big or small, just compliment it. No questions asked about where he got it from.
#7 When your dog yawns, you yawn too. No excuses
#8 You will be kicked out of society if you don’t say “hi” to a dog passing by.
#9 As soon as your dog poops on a walk, someone has to exclaim “Whoops! We got a pooper!”
#10 Thank your dog no matter what “gift” they bring to you.
#11 Shout “TEEFIES” whenever you see them.
#12 Introduce your dog in every Zoom call.
#13 When they wink, you wink back. It is tradition.
#14 Your dog watches you poop. No arguments. The door stays open.
#15 Your dog must try glasses a million times at home whenever you see a pair around.
