An USPS mailman went over his duty to built a ramp for a senior dog that loved to greet him whenever he went to deliver the mail at his house.
Even the dogs owner told us that when he reached the age 14, walking up and down the stairs became a struggle for him. Things got to that point where the dog needed to be carried around because he couldn’t do certain things on his on. And we have to keep in mind that he weights over 70 pounds.
One of these days, the mailman appeared on their door stepped and offered to built a ramp for the senior dog, so he could keep greeting him without having to go up and down the stairs every time. These mailman spent his day off to built a ramp for the dog. Isn’t that wonderfully generous?
That simple wood ramp has been a life saver for both the family and the dog as well. As the kind USPS employee commented, seeing the dog this happy, we hope for him only best things and hopefully he’ll live a bit longer .
