The Siberian Husky Breed – The best and the worst

Siberian Huskies are wonderful dogs who love people and love life. If Siberian huskies are properly trained they can be great family dogs. Siberian huskies have high energy and they require a lot of daily exercise and are not to be trusted off leash. When bored, a Husky may chew, dig, and escape to look for adventure elsewhere.

The Siberian Husky Breed – The best and the worst

The best

1. Siberian Huskies are very affectionate dogs, Siberian huskies are friendly with people, even strangers

2. Siberian Huskies are athletic and have a strong zest for life.

3. Siberian Huskies are very clever and independent dogs, they are smart and will quickly learn new commands, especially when food is on the line.

The worst

1. Siberian Huskies can shed a lot because of their thick fur, especially at seasons and warm weather.

2. Siberian Huskies are awful guard dogs, huskies may look wild and fierce, but they make awful guard dogs.

3. Siberian Huskies have very high prey drive. High prey drive also means that a Husky will have a strong instinct to chase and hunt cats and possibly also small dogs and other animals.

4. Siberian Huskies love to sing,  neighbors may not particularly enjoy it when Siberians decide to sing or howl to the moon.

5. Siberian Huskies need commitment. Huskies are very energetic and affectionate, they like being with people and they also need something to keep them busy, otherwise they will get bored and get into different kind of troubles.

6. Siberian Huskies love to pull, they were breed to pull sleds, and today, they still love to pull, so is going to be a challenge to teach your husky to walk.
