This is the sad story of Pinky! On Saturday the 15th of August, 2015, the Sacramento SPCA arrived to their shelter to find a small Chihuahua dog in a carrier left at their doorstep. At first, they thought this was one of the usual abandonment cases, where owners just leave their dogs without explaining why or who they are. But then, they found the heartbreaking note attached to the dog’s carrier. Even though we love our dogs very much sometimes for some people is very hard to keep up with all the expenses.
The note explained that the dog is named Pinky, and that her owners have tried to solve her fleas problem in many ways, but it continued to persist. See the full note in the next picture.
But they couldn’t afford it and this way, they thought it was best to leave it at the shelter’s doorstep.
