It all started one morning as the man that found the dog was going to work in a hurry since he was already late. While driving his car, he noticed a dog dumped from a truck on the side of the road. As the day went by and he returned home, he discussed what he had seen with his wife. And since he just could not let that image go, the couple went back and decided to look for the abandoned dog.
Although they noticed the dog again, the poor thing was so terrified he wouldn’t let them approach any where near him. After several days trying they finally got to him and brought him back to their place.
The cruel action of whomever had dumped the dog out of the truck in the middle of the road could not be left unnoticed. So the wife decided to write a post on her Facebook page relieving all her anger. It took a few minutes for the post to go viral.
Her post begins like this: “To the dirtbag that threw his dog out in the Allegan forest on 48th street Friday at about 3:30pm. Let me tell you what your dog went through as you drove off.” As it goes on she describes what the poor pup went through. How he kept chasing the truck although he had just been thrown away. After walking for hours on the direction on the truck the dog got exhausted and collapsed on the side of the road. She also described how this unpleasant event had scared the dog so deeply that he kept trembling and was terrified of humans.
For the time being the dog is safe staying at his rescuers house still waiting for his owners to show up. Even though we read the post that went viral there is still a big question in the minds of us all. How can an animal lover that owns a pup can ever have the heart to throw away his own pet as if it was a piece of garbage? How?
