The Argentinian star dedicated one of his goals in Inter Miami’s win to his son, who was in the stands.
Inter Miami demolished Atlanta United 4-0 in the Leagues Cup and advanced to the following round of the tournament, with Leo Messi scoring a brace in just 22 minutes and showing that he arrived in full to his new team.
Messi celebrated one of his two goals by turning to his family: his sons Thiago, Ciro and Mateo, his wife Antonela Rocuzzo and his mother, Celia, who hadn’t seen her son shine bright like tonight in a while.

After one of his goals, Messi celebrated much differently than his traditional celebration with his hands held high and pointing up. This time, he signaled to where his sons were and paid homage to Thor, Thiago’s favorite superhero.
Messi posed just like the God of Thunder by putting on a serious face, but he then smiled after seeing the reaction of his sons who went crazy for their father’s celebration in the midst of an official game.

Inter Miami had a perfect night with four goals and zero conceded, but Messi had a special and unexpected partner in Robert Taylor, who also scored two goals in a magical night at DRV PNK Stadium.
