The reactions of a group of young Champions League mascots during Paris Saint-Germain’s clash with Maccabi Haifa have gone viral on social media.
Prior to kick-off, the PSG players lined up for pre-match rituals at the Sammy Ofer Stadium.
And in the footage, the young mascots are adorably awestruck at seeing Lionel Messi in the flesh. We don’t blame them – we’d probably react the same way even as adults!
The kids forget about the formation they are supposed to line up in and just rush in to hug Messi while ignoring the rest of his teammates. Take a look:
