When spend your entire childhood with a dog in the house, you consider him as part of the family. It comes natural to love him as much as any other member. I know is difficult for non dog owners to process this way of thinking. They see specific behaviors between a dog and his owner as weird or even disgusting. But what can I say. You got to love them to be able to understand.
