8 things you are doing wrong with your dog…

Getting a dog might seem like an easy thing to do, which it is, the real struggle comes after. Once you get the dog you have to make sure to teach them how to behave properly.

You should teach your dogs how to behave, when to eat, how to treat the house and so on. Teaching your dogs all these things is a real challenge, and that is why you should read a lot before putting yourself through a process like this. Even though you might try so hard to rod the right things, sometimes you might mess up just because you love your dog so much, and you want him/her to feel good all the time.

Well here are 8 things you are doing wrong, and if you don’t right your wrongs, then your dog will not be as polite and well-behaved as you would want to.

#1- Never allow your dog to get on top of the kitchen counter. If you let them once, then it will be hard for you to keep them away. If you set rules from the beginning you will have no trouble latter on.

#2- Do not get manipulated by those sad eyes. Your dogs should eat their own food, and you have to keep things that way. If you feed them once, then they are going to cry every time you eat. I bet you would not want that to happen.

#3- Make them feel comfortable with their kennel. Don’t make them fear/hate the kennel because that is their bedroom, and you would not want your dog to hate its own private place.

#4- If you take your dog out to finish its own personal businesses, then you should make that clear. Walking for fun is one thing, while potty time is another.

#5- Teach your dog how to walk without having the need to keep that leash so close to yourself. Give them freedom little by little while letting the leash loose, and they will understand that they can walk by your side like as if it was a normal thing, which it is!

#6- Don’t punch your dog, make them understand when they do something wrong by talking to them. They understand trust me.

#7- Teach them how to be polite without jumping on guests who might be afraid of them.

#8- Reward them with treats every time they do something good. They will understand that in order to get treats, they have to behave properly.
