The American Kennel Club has been adding new breeds to their dog breed list since 2002. In these thirteen years the club has been able to add 40new dog breeds. For this year the AKC introduced the newest 7dog breeds during Thanksgiving day. The show was scheduled right after the Macy’s Parade. From noon-2:00 PM approximately 20million people were watching the show. It was a really interesting show because people were able to learn all about the newest dog breeds in the World. These breeds have excited before, but it takes a lot of time to confirm everything before making the final announcements of these new dog breeds. According to AKC these are the newest 7dog breeds in the world, and here are a few characteristics:
Cirneco dell’Etna
This dog has been present in Sicily for over 2500 years, and it is a hunter of small mammals and fowls. They say this dog breed is far more successful under adverse companion.
Miniature American Shepherd
This dog breed was developed in US. This dog is a highly versatile, energetic dog with superior intelligence and a willingness to please.
Lagotto Romagnolo
This dog breed is not really active. all they can do during the day is chasing the truffles around the house during the whole day.
Boerboel
This dog could be anything from a companion, to a great worker, to a great guard. He has an appearance as a Mastiff, but this dog breed is far more muscular.
Berger Picard
This is a mediam-sized dog, highly active, a good herding dog, and could be used as a companion as well.
Bergamasco
Sheepdog whose most unique characteristic is its coat, which contains “dog hair,” “goat hair” and “wool” combining to form felt-like mats.
Spanish Water Dog
This dog breed is also called a multi-purpose breed. It can be used as herding dog, as a companion, or for water works.
